Important Product Warnings
- This product must be fitted by a qualified mechanic
- Do not use this product following a crash, or if the product is damaged or marked in any way
- Do not attempt to straighten bars if they become bent
- Remove any burrs from contact edge of bar mount before Installation
- It is essential that 1-1/8in(28.6mm) diameter bar mounts are used
- Do not damage the handlebar during installation
- After installation ensure steering is not disrupted
- Do not modify the handlebars
- Do not mark the handlebar. Physical marking of the handlebar will lead to stress raisers which could lead to a fatigue failure
- Do not drill into or modify bars and bar mounts
- Do not install after-market end plugs or handguards that mount using internal expanding end plugs
- Do not modify 7/8" clamps to fit 1-1/8in (28.6mm) handlebars
- Do not clean the handlebar with any form of metal polish / concentrated cleaning fluids
- Do not use the handlebar as a mounting point when transporting the motorcycle
- Renthal Handlebars are warranted against defects in material and craftsmanship. Normal wear and tear is not warranted, including bending as a result of a crash
- Failure to comply with the warnings and installation instructions can result in complete product failure
End of Life
Renthal® Fatbar Handlebars are primarily made of aluminium and are easily recyclable at metal recycling centres, often found or collected at municipal waste and recycling facilities. If the handlebar becomes damaged or comes to the end of it's useful life we recommend you recycle the bar using metal recycling facilities.
