R1 Chain Warnings

General

This product must be fitted by a qualified mechanic
Do not use this product following a crash, or if the product is damaged or marked in any way
Follow motorcycle owners manual for correct fitment
Once fitted, carefully check there is no contact between the chain and the motorcycle causing interference, when the rear wheel is spinning.

Cleaning and lubrication

Wash using a soft brush with paraffin or kerosene (avoid steam, petrol or solvents). Dry immediately with a light air jet, then lubricate with Renthal chain lube (Part no. L-102) or equivalent lube.

Fitting Advice

When replacing a chain it is best practice to replace both front and rear chainwheels also. A new chain will wear quicker when used with a worn chainwheel and vice versa.
